Christian Gladwell has been appointed as UK CEO of Naked Communications, after Ian Clark leaves the role.

Clark, who was appointed only 14 months ago, saw the agency rebrand from Hypernaked to Naked Communications.

Commenting on Gladwell's appointment, the company stated: “Christian brings dynamism, enthusiasm and rigour to his role as UK CEO. Over the last ten years he has built a reputation for using data to build effective, award winning creative work. This has included the re-launch of the BBC iPlayer, the embedding of digital into Burberry’s business and the digital strategy for the London Olympic Games.”

Gladwell previously co-founded agency Human Digital, which was acquired by M&C Saatchi in July 2011.

Naked Comms has stated that Gladwell will now focus on shaping Naked’s strategic and creative capabilities to find innovative solutions to clients’ business problems.

Gladwell told The Drum: “I am delighted to be joining such a talented team as Naked and I look forward to playing my role in leading the company forward”.
