The 2014 RAR Award winners were crowned earlier this evening at a black-tie event held at London’s Marriott Grosvenor Square, with Intermarketing Agency and The Agency clinching the Grand Prix prizes.
Now in its fifth year the RAR Awards are based on agency performance as voted by clients, using agency data and client commentary collected by RAR on an ongoing basis.
Steve Antoniewicz, MD of RAR, commented: "Every year the RAR awards give recognition to the agencies who perform well as judged by the toughest critics, their clients. Hats off to every agency who made a very competitive shortlist this year and a huge well done to the winners for achieving amazing levels of performance across the last 12 months."
The awards are given to agencies based on the services they provide and also for service level categories including effectiveness, creativity and innovation, value for money and strategic thinking.
Amongst the agencies performing well at this year’s awards were Blue Marlin, The Gate, Thinking Juice and Hudson Sandler who won awards in categories including effectiveness, creativity and innovation, and strategic thinking and public relations.
Lewis Moberly, Ahoy, Burn, Proctor & Stevenson and Juice are just some of the other agencies collecting awards during the course of the evening.
Strong Design categories saw prizes handed to Elmwood (over 40) and SO Marketing (up to 40).
Coming out top for events were Journey 9 (up to 40) and The Fresh Group (over 40) with The Gate (over 40) and VirtualStudio.TV taking home awards for TV.
Corporate Communications was won by Somersault Video Productions (up to 40) and Purple Agency (over 40).
