Phones 4u is offering free access to a bespoke 30-day workout challenge on its YouTube channel to promote the Samsung Galaxy S5 and its S Health and well-being features ahead of festival season.

The festival-themed exercise footage was launched by choreographer Jay Revell and Pussycat Dolls star and Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Roberts at a special live preview demonstration in Brunswick Square Gardens in central London yesterday.

Ben Padley, director of marketing at Phones 4u, said: “Your smartphone supports your lifestyle choices – from monitoring health and fitness targets on the move, to planning family activities at home and away.

“Today marks the first in a series of initiatives from Phones 4u that are designed to acknowledge the role smart devices play in people’s everyday lives. For example, 45 per cent of participants in our recent uBar panel said they have already used an app on their smartphone to support their fitness or health goals. The Samsung Galaxy S5’s heart monitor and broader S Health functionality is a perfect example of how manufacturers are working to meet the demand for technology that helps people to make healthier lifestyle choices.”

The 30 day campaign will also be supported across its various social media platforms as new workout videos are uploaded to the Phones 4u YouTube channel.
