Chip Shop Awards brings back classic categories by popular demand
In response to popular demand, the Chip Shop Awards is bringing back some of its classic categories from down the years.
As the event has grown in stature over the last decade, some of the categories from previous years have made way for new ones.
But organisers have received a number of requests to reinstate much loved categories – such as best use of shocking copy and best remake of an existing advert – which were present in previous years.
And as the awards bill themselves as the home of 'creativity with no limits', the Chip Shop team said they thought it was "only fair" to give the public what they want.
So, the following categories will be returning, and you will have until the specially extended deadline date of 17 April to submit your ideas:
• Best Use of Shocking Copy
• Best Remake of an Existing Advert
• Best Ambient Media
• Best Consumer Ad or Campaign
• Best Press Advert
• Best Public Awareness
• Best Charity Advert
