Wunderman is set to up its data offering in the EMEA region after the acquisition of London-based FusePump, a company specialising in product data and content for digital marketing.

Deal: Wunderman has acquired FusePump

The deal gives Wunderman access to FusePump technology and platforms, and the company’s affiliate marketing tools such as FeedCreator, WidgetCreator and AdCreator, which enable affiliate marketers to create “branded, contextually relevant” content for websites. FusePump’s clients include Tesco, ASOS, The Body Shop, O2, Nokia, Sony, lastminute.com and Sky.

Gary S Laben, president of Wunderman’s data and insights division – which FusePump will come under – said: “FusePump will complement our existing capabilities in personalisation and help us continue to improve the consumer buying experience as well as extend retailers’ marketing reach and reputations.”

A statement said the deal would complement Wunderman’s existing services, allowing it to “integrate data end to end to help brands find new customers” through its existing I-Behaviour service based in the UK for display data, the France-based Predictys for email data and now FusePump for website data.
