Words are at the heart of this commercial for Santander that finds a different use for the trio of sport stars whose iffy performances have blighted the brand's advertising over the past few years. Concentrating instead on the humanity of ordinary folk, this is a much better piece of work - but Ennis, McIlroy and Button are like ornaments that have to be used because of what they cost... even though anyone can see this ensemble would be even better without them.
