Creative agency Love is hosting a series of ‘career days’ as part of a recruitment drive for its Manchester and London offices.

Over three consecutive days (Tuesday 4 March – Thursday 6 March) Love creative directors will meet hopefuls inviting them to showcase their work either in person during the days at the London and Manchester offices or via Skype.

And for those needing an excuse to get out of work to attend one of the career days Love has developed a series of obscure sick notes with excuses for not coming into work ranging from ‘live tweeting a funeral’ to ‘I woke up too fast and gave myself whiplash’ and ‘I feel like my heads too small for my body’. More excuses will be tweeted from Love’s Twitter account in the run up to the career days.

Love’s executive creative director, Dave Palmer, commented: “We're looking for the best graphic designers and creative thinkers to work on an array of projects for global brands, big and small. We want people who fundamentally care about storytelling in their work, people who are smart, passionate about design and creativity and are up for doing things differently.”

Both permanent and freelance roles are available with applications to be made through the Love blog. Deadline is Monday 24 February with interviews taking place during the career days.
