Epson has announced the appointment of Total Media to handle its offline media planning and buying across Europe.

Epson has briefed Total Media to help launch Epson’s new products to the market, while growing awareness and sales around existing digital technologies.

Thomas Laranjo, managing director at Total Media commented: “We are delighted to be working alongside Epson, a company at the very forefront of information and digital imaging technology. Our new partnership continues to expand the breadth of exciting technology clients we currently work with, including Lenovo, Pure and Lookout.”

Epson’s previous offline media planning and buying agency was Carat Enterprise. Epson has retained their digital media agency, Agenda21.

Mike Dando, media planning manager at Epson said of the new appointment: “2014 is a very exciting year for Epson. While we continue to grow our share of traditional markets such as print, projection and scan, we will be launching a number of products into new sectors. We know that in Total Media and Agenda 21 we have two media partners that will help us to maximise the media opportunities that we will be addressing this year.”

Work on the account will begin immediately.
