The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have set up companies to protect their images rights, Kensington Palace has said.

The Guardian and the Daily Mail have both reported that the couple have set up the companies; with William founding APL Anglesey and Catherine setting up CE Strathearn, in a bid to allow them to official endorse products.

They would also be able to claim against anyone harmfully using their images should it be necessary.

However a spokesperson for Kensington Palace has said that the companies, set up over a year-and-a half ago, were ‘dormant’ and that Prince Harry had also set up a company called Tsessebe.
