Wunderman's Martin Conneen takes over APAC president role from Stephane Faggianelli, who moves to EMEA position
Wunderman has appointed Martin Conneen to the role of regional president, Asia Pacific, taking over the reins from Stephane Faggianelli, who moves to the regional president position for Europe/Middle East and Africa.
Move: Stephane Faggianelli
Conneen most recently served as CEO of Wunderman’s brand experience division and he takes over the Asia Pacific regional role from Faggianelli. He will be based in Singapore.
Meanwhile, after 12 years in Asia Faggianelli is returning to Europe and will be based in London. According to the ageny, Faggianelli drove the agency’s digital transformation in the Asia Pacific region and developed key accounts with Microsoft, Nokia, Land Rover and P&G. Under his leadership, Wunderman grew by six times in size in Asia Pacific.
Both men will report to Wunderman chairman and CEO Daniel Morel, who said: “Martin and Stephane have both demonstrated commitment to their clients and great loyalty to Wunderman.
“Stephane is an expert on building brands with a distinguished history of providing clients with creative solutions. His efforts are only matched by Martin’s commitment to organise teams to deliver in today’s increasingly complex data and digital landscape.”
In addition to the moves, Conneen has joined the Wunderman executive board, of which Faggianelli is already a member.
