The appointment comes ahead of a series of brand campaigns that are set to roll out on a monthly basis beginning in January 2014. The first will focus on Benefit's popular ‘POREfessional’ product.

1000heads has been tasked with leading the social media strategy across the UK and Ireland during the campaigns, as well as the development of creative, reporting and the set-up of a new advocacy program.

Hannah Webley-Smith, UK marketing director at Benefit Cosmetics, explained: “Our brand is growing and so is our need to communicate with our customers online. We have a lot of exciting launches next year and it’s vital we have creative and engaging campaigns to support them.

“1000heads got to know our audience and came to us with a solid insights-led strategy that we knew was exactly in-line with our brand philosophy. We know these social campaigns will really keep our customers wondering what Benefit will do next!”

Michelle Stoodley, account director, 1000heads, explained that it will be looking to exude the “passion and personality” of Benefit customers through in the brand’s social presences.

In addition, 1000heads is also readying a dedicated measurement framework to ensure Benefit Cosmetics social channels are meeting strategic goals.
