UK bedding brand, the Fine Bedding Company, has launched a new website to boost online sales and to sustain growth in 2014.

Over 100 years of business

The Manchester-based digital agency Studio North designed and built the new website with an emphasis on e-commerce. The site is also 50 per cent more mobile friendly than it previously was.

Additionally, the brand is also being supported by an integrated marketing campaign following the appointment of Cheshire based PR and social media agency the PR Boutique who oversaw the brand refresh.

While the initial design launched this week, its first task will be to support the brand’s January sale that starts on Boxing Day.

Claire Watkin, managing director, the Fine Bedding Company, said: “We have invested a huge amount in the brand this year - with a new logo, brand look and feel, packaging, new products and now website – confident that this will help us to deliver an even stronger brand reputation and increase sales faster than ever before.

“While we wanted to maintain a high level of branded content, conveying our lovers of a great night’s sleep and sleep expert propositions, it was important that the new site helped us capitalise on the huge opportunity selling online gives us and balance emotional messages with functionality.”

Nick Wright, strategy director, Studio North, said: “A core requirement of the new website was ease of use for both the consumer and the Fine Bedding Company team, which the platform delivers.

“It has also been designed to support the brand’s plans for growth and ambitions to use digital marketing as a way of accelerating this expansion.”

The brand launched 11 years ago and has shop-in-shop concessions in selected House of Fraser branches and independent stores throughout the UK.
