One in six clicks comes from a mobile handset – Now TV and Groupon amongst top retailers
Now TV, The Brilliant Gift Shop, Groupon and Joules are the top retailers across mobile devices by percentage of sales, Affiliate Window has found, as the company reports that currently one in six clicks comes through a mobile handset.
The research comes at the affiliate company predicts a mobile Christmas, as Cyber Monday - 2 December – approaches quickly.
The company said: “We expect a significant increase on last year’s six per cent share of sales through mobile handsets.
“Additional mobile peaks are widely anticipated. We traditionally see spikes in mobile traffic at the weekend and last year saw mobile performance peak on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.”
Average order values through mobile handsets stood at £50 last December, a number which is expected to rise as mobile optimised sites have increased conversion rates significantly through handsets while also driving up average order values.
95 per cent of retailers on the Affiliate Window network have mobile tracking in place.
