Manchester City players take over New York in first ad campaign for New York City FC
Manchester City players have taken on New York in the first advert promoting US sister-side New York FC.
The club, formed out of a partnership between Manchester City FC and the New York Yankees, recently appointed Droga5 to oversee its creative output.
For its first campaign it flew across some of its biggest players like Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Samir Nasri, Joe Hart, Gael Clichy, James Milner and Matija Nastasic to kick a ball around well-known New York sites and neighbourhoods.
Titled 'Join The Movement', the online activity is promoting a competition giving away tickets to the first New York City home game.
The club is encouraging fans to share the video across social networks using the hashtag #nycfc.
