Carmex appoints Whynot! for winter digital campaign

Carmex has appointed Whynot! to create a word of mouth and socially-led campaign to promote the brand’s classic lip balm pots.

Nick Whitehurst, CEO of Whynot!, said: “We’re really excited to be working with Carmex to help them drive brand awareness through social media and word of mouth. It’s a particularly interesting time to begin working with such an exciting brand, as us Brits start to wrap up warm and brace ourselves for the colder months.”

Joanna Marston, marketing manager at Grafton International, said: “We’re looking forward to working with Whynot! and seeing some great results across social media which will help us to drive consumer engagement and continue to innovate our digital content strategy.”

The agency will aim to drive brand awareness for the Carmex range, with the campaign running throughout December and January.
