Aldi has unveiled its first Christmas ad of 2013, created by McCann Manchester.

The 30-second ad launched yesterday, and is set to air again during the finale of Downton Abbey on 10 November.

The launch of the ad comes shortly after Aldi was named the world’s top 'simple' brand in the fourth annual Global Brand Simplicity Index.
