Comic Relief appoints Futureproof to handle social for Monkey
Comic Relief has appointed Futureproof to handle the social media accounts for the tea-drinking Monkey.
Futureproof will be handling Monkey's personal Facebook and Twitter pages, and will be looking to get more people than ever before to engage with the woolly creature.
Monkey said, "I thoroughly enjoyed a good chin wag with the nice people at Futureproof, who impressed me with their knowledge and experience of all those new-fangled digital thingumajigs that I don't have time to fiddle with. I do have a high-profile acting career to attend to after all."
Monkey was donated to Comic Relief, following the closure of ITV Digital, with income from Monkey merchandise going to the charity.
