Olivier Gers joins Starcom MediaVest as global president of LiquidThread
Olivier Gers has been appointed global president of Starcom MediaVest’s branded entertainment content unit LiquidThread.

Gers will work closely with the president of SMG LiquidThread North America, Brent Poer, and report to Brian Terkelsen, CEO of MediaVest.
Prior to joining the company, Gers served as CEO of Endemol Worldwide Brands division and has previously served as general manager at Freemantle Media Licensing Worldwide.
Gers said: “I’m excited to join Starcom MediaVest Group and its multi-faceted and talented executives. They’ve evolved into a content powerhouse and innovator, harnessing new technology as new opportunities to tell brand stories and engage with audiences across all screens.
“I’ll look to catalyse that evolution further across markets and production partners to drive deeper impact for our clients.”
In the role, Gers will oversee digital marketing strategies, core partnership models and the development of brand programming.
