Global Radio has unveiled its latest television advertising campaign for Heart radio stations, starring singer Olly Murs.

The thirty-second advert, which will premiere during tomorrow night's (5 October) episode of The X Factor, shows various pairs of people connecting by making 'heart hands', culminating in an Olly Murs concert where he forms the symbol with a female fan while singing the song 'Heart Skips a Beat'.

Giles Pearman, group director of marketing at Global, said: “Heart is the UK’s biggest commercial radio brand with 7.5 million loyal listeners every week. This new TV campaign lives up to the station's promise to “Give it some Heart” in a fun and creative way, showing the positive feeling Heart listeners experience. This is brought to life through social and experiential activity, giving all our listeners a chance to really engage with the campaign.

Global's £2.5m campaign includes TV, cinema and social media promotion, as well as experiential activity involving appearances by the 'Heart Angels' at various events across the country.
