Microwave meals brand Taste Inc has appointed Cheetham Bell JWT (CBJWT) to handle brand strategy, advertising, social media and SEO work.

The brand has briefed CBJWT with help it to promote its range of 12 products – including burgers, sandwiches, baguettes and ciabattas – as ‘Good Food Fast’ and its first marketing campaign will focus on a ‘Doing something good in 90 seconds’ strapline.
Taste is aiming to build its identity as a high quality, low calorie microwave meal option. The campaign will run across outdoor, YouTube and social media channels.
David Bell, CEO of CBJWT, said: “Microwave snack brands have adopted a laddish tone of voice which is both unappetising and at times uncouth.
“We’re going to make Taste Inc famous for bringing chicken burgers and baguettes to the microwave based on the quality of the product.”
The brand, owned by Thai conglomerate CP Foods, launched in April and is based in Newmarket.
