Draftfcb names ex-Publicis CMO Chris Shumaker as EVP, chief marketing officer, North America
Draftfcb has brought in Chris Shumaker to the newly created role of EVP, chief marketing officer for North America.
Shumaker, most recently CMO for Publicis USA, has also served at The Martin Agency, FCB Worldwide, Grey Worldwide, and Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex.
“Chris’s passion for the business and deep integrity have helped him forge some very strong relationships with clients and consultants over the years,” said CEO Carter Murray. “I am confident that this, together with his extensive new business experience, will help bring more clients into the Draftfcb fold.”
At Publicis Shumaker oversaw all new business and brand development efforts in the US, his efforts from 2007-2013 created over $100m in new business revenue opportunities for the agency.
