Former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan is quitting as a judge on America's Got Talent after six years,
He said he had enjoyed every single moment on the show - but found that juggling the show with his main American gig - Piers Morgan Live on CNN, was just too much.
Piers - never afraid to take up big issues on CNN - has made a lot of waves in the US as a result of his anti-gun campaign, following the Newton school massacre. His figures are ahead of Larry King whom he replaced, but not by much. A recent move for more live programming was seen as an attempt top boost audiences.
The programme's producer Syco has yet to announce a replacement on the show.
