Fox launches ‘Welcome to Dutchland’ integrated campaign featuring Homer Simpson, Ghost Face, & Wayne Rooney

Fox in the Netherlands has unveiled its first integrated campaign to promote the channel since appointing Anomaly Amsterdam as its agency of record.

The integrated campaign follows the release of Anomaly’s Fox Sports advertising initiative which debuted at the end of July.

‘Welcome to Dutchland’ is a teaser campaign designed to introduce Fox television to the people of the Netherlands and features iconic characters from international movies, television series’ and football placed in typically Dutch situations.

Executions include Homer Simpson trying his first herring and international football players interrupted by cows grazing on the football pitch.

“The Welcome to Dutchland campaign introduces the Fox brand in a bold way, heroing the channel's key content while connecting with Dutch culture,” commented Michel Palmen, marketing director, Fox International Channels.

The campaign will evolve into ‘Welkom bij Fox’ at the end of the month to include OOH, print, radio and digital activity introducing Fox’s programming across TV shows, football and movies.
