SpotXchange confirms European expansion with the appointment of new business development director for Spain

Video ad inventory marketplace SpotXchange has announced expansion into Europe with the appointment of Ana Garcia as business development director for Spain.

Garcia, who has worked in the Spanish online advertising industry for over 12 years, is tasked with helping SpotXchange expand across the continent. Prior to joining SpotXchange Garcia has held business development positions as well as managing director roles at companies including Adpepper, Advertising.com, Yahoo! and CPX Interactive. She has also worked client side as digital marketing manager for Zed.com and country manager for Spain and LatAm for CPX.

Of the appointment, Andrew Moore, European managing director of SpotXchange, said: “Having examined the Spanish market, we feel the Spanish publishers are progressive and open to working in new ways and embracing new technologies.

“I am excited to welcome Ana to SpotXchange and know her experience and knowledge will be invaluable as we expand into Spain as throughout her career, she has introduced US technology to the Spanish marketplace and built successful media business in Spain.”

Garcia added: “Throughout my career I have been involved in the creation and development of new businesses and taking products from beginning to launch to the market and stabilisation. I’m really excited to be bringing these experiences to SpotXchange.”
