Somo has announced that Michael Becker has joined the agency as marketing development and strategic advisor for North America.
Becker has been tasked with focusing on leverage the company’s mobile strategy, creative, media and technology services to help businesses extend their reach and increase awareness on the potential of mobile marketing.
“I am thrilled to join forces with Somo,” said Becker. “As the prevalence and importance of mobile continues to grow, I’m looking forward to helping more marketers realise their organisation’s potential by leveraging Somo’s industry-leading capabilities.”
Prior to joining the company, Becker held a number of roles with the Mobile Marketing Association over the past ten years, most recently serving as North American managing director.

Somo currently works with brands including Audi, BP, Groupon, Red Bull and The New York Times on their mobile offerings.
