Social Buzz judges for 2013 unveiled: Visa Europe, Häagen-Dazs, Adobe and more

The Social Buzz Awards, in association with iomart Group, has entered its third year, and the growth of social has led to the growth of the awards, with new categories such as best use of Pinterest being unveiled.

To judge the awards, which celebrate effective social media marketing, a panel of experts are being compiled.

The judges announced so far are: Nick Jones, vice president of corporate communications for digital at Visa Europe; Ron Peterson, practice lead for social at AKQA; Jeremy Waite, head of social strategy at Adobe EMEA; Jamie Riddell, director of social at Jaywing/creator of BirdSong; Alex Packham, social media manager at NOW TV; Karen Fewell, director of social media, digital marketing and blonde wig purchasing at DigitalBlonde; James Whatley, head of social media at Ogilvy Soho Square; Joseph Liu, senior brand manager at Häagen-Dazs global communications and strategy; Paul Armstrong, owner of Digital Orange Consulting; and Tiffany St James, social media strategist and speaker at Stimulation.

More judges are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

In the run up to the awards, we will be chatting to the judges on the subject of social, and what they will be looking for from entries during the judging process.
