Sokka, a series of fully interactive football games designed by former England manager and captain Kevin Keegan, has launched complete with brand identity from North West digital agency Ahoy.

Ahoy was tasked with creating Sokka’s brand identity, building and designing its website as well as managing print requirements including business cards and promotional material.

Of the appointment, Kevin Keegan commented: “As a new brand on the market, it was important that we partner with an agency that we could trust to deliver a high quality service at the best value for money.”

Briefed with creating a polished brand that would sit comfortably within the high-end football game market, Ahoy’s logo for Sokka takes inspiration from the classic football club crest, using iconic football shirt stripes on one side with football print on the other and a crown at the top representing heritage and quality.

As well as creating the Sokka website, Ahoy also worked on a promotional video that could be used at both presentations and football business events.

Mark Stringer, MD at Ahoy, added: “Sokka is a great concept for all ages and abilities. At first sight the game looks deceivingly simple and yet it’s incredibly high energy, effective and fun… The team has created an identity that has allowed Sokka to confidently launch a brand it can be proud of.”
