Food website BBCGoodFood.com relaunched today with new ‘how to’ videos, more powerful search and easier navigation options and a seamless experience across multiple devices.

The old site, which had 40.9 million page views every month, was adapted for increased compatibility with mobiles and tablets.

The new look of the site which was designed with a global audience in mind, underpins BBC Worldwide’s commitment to deliver one unified experience for its international fan base. The new platform was built using Drupal, a flexible, open source content management platform with a large developer following.

Alex White, Head of Digital Publishing, UK at BBC Worldwide commented: “As an innovator within the digital food industry – it’s hugely exciting to unveil the fresh-faced BBC Good Food website. We’re proud to include more high quality video content and of course, our show-stopping recipes remain at the heart of everything we do.

“With a lively and loyal social media community, it’s hoped the site’s re-launch will also encourage greater social engagement, with more options than ever before to recommend, review and share our triple tested recipes.”
