Grohe appoints Adconnection for media planning and buying

Grohe, the bathroom fittings and kitchen tap specialist has appointed Adconnection to handle its media planning and buying accounts.

Adconnection begins in June with campaigns across home interest titles and specialist press in the kitchen and bathroom sector, with press ads and inserts, as well as retargeting online.

Maha El Kharbotly-Opas, Grohe UK general manager, said: “2013 is an exciting year for Grohe with over 350 innovative products that were showcased at ISH Frankfurt. Having won numerous design accolades we want to share some of our latest award winning products with UK consumers.

“Adconnection impressed us with their understanding and specialist knowledge of the home interest market, analytics and targeting, and we look forward to working with them on these campaigns.”

The first products to be included in a campaign will be appliances from Grohe’s digital bathroom including taps with automatic programmed temperatures, infrared sensor taps that you do not have to touch for hygiene purposes, and showers that have digital sensors to stop when the user moves away to save water.
