broadbandchoices.co.uk has unveiled its second round of advertising in a bid to reinforce the brand and change the way consumers compare and switch broadband providers.

The price comparison website first launched its advertising in December 2012, with the second ad airing on TV for the first time tomorrow (Wednesday 1 May).

Mike Longden, creative director of brand and marketing agency thecoalshed.co.uk, who handled the advert development and launch, commented: “I am absolutely delighted with the success of the first round of TV advertising and am looking forward to seeing the impact the second advert has on further boosting our brand identity. The overall aim of the campaign was to make broadbandchoices famous, becoming known as the destination for broadband comparison.

“Twelve months ago if you had mentioned broadbandchoices to strangers they wouldn’t have known who you were talking about, but following the ad launch spontaneous awareness of the brand has grown by 500 per cent.”

Launch and growth specialists Total Media have been employed to manage the offline digital media planning and buying account and the TV ad will be supported by a fully integrated marketing campaign.
