Whisky brand The Macallan appoints Equator for website

Premium spirits company Edrington has appointed Equator to create a new website for whisky brand The Macallan.

The agency, which last year created a digital platform for The Macallan’s annual Masters of Photography competition, will look to build a responsive site, as well as an online store with the aim to support global online sales.

Garry Hamilton, business development director at Equator, said: “We are really pleased to further develop our relationship with Edrington and The Macallan and are excited about working with them on the new website.

The Macallan was founded in 1824.
