SXSW Interactive Awards Winners: Invisible Children’s KONY 2012 named best Digital Campaign 2013

SXSW Interactive has announced its winners for its 16th annual awards, with Invisible Children’s KONY 2012 crowned as the best Digital Campaign 2013

The ceremony presented 20 awards to some of the globe’s top Web developers and designers, selected from hundreds of entries.Winners were named across categories, including ‘Activism’, ‘Business’ and ‘Social Media’, and five special honours, including ‘People’s Choice’, ‘Digital Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Breakout Digital Trend’ were also given.

Andrew McNeill,SXSW Interactive Awards Coordinator said: "This year’s Interactive Awards ceremony delivered a great balance of fun and entertainment while celebrating inspiring innovation.

“The quality of the companies in this year’s submissions upheld the impressive standard we expect. We extend our congratulations to this year’s winners and look forward to seeing how they continue to impact our digital worlds.”
