Woman arrested for offering to sell her children for $4,000 on Facebook
Placing an ad on Facebook is no big deal – but a woman in America has been arrested for offering to sell her two children using the platform.
The 22 year old woman, who has both a 10-month-old daughter and a two-year-old son offered to sell the 10-month-old for $1,000, or both children for $4,000.
One of the messages on Facebook read: “Just come to Sallisaw, it’s only 30 minutes away and I'll give you all of her stuff and let y’all have her forever for $1,000.”
The Sequoyah County Times has reported that the woman, who said she needed the money to bail her boyfriend out of jail, is now in jail herself with bail set at $40,000.
