Digital advertising audience measurement company Quantcast has opened its EMEA operations centre in Dublin, and will be headed up by Daniel Desmond, inside sales director EMEA.

The office, which opens with six employees, will aim to provide digital jobs to 100 members of staff within the next two years, initially working with the COI, Mazda, 3, Virgin Media, Specsavers and Paddypower, The Drum has been informed.

The San Francisco headquartered company, which launched in 2006, has said that the EMEA operation will provide account management, product operations, marketing and finance services.

Konrad Feldman, CEO of Quantcast, commented: “A combination of our clients’ desires to expand their advertising campaigns to more countries and the tremendous new business opportunity afforded in Europe and beyond guided this move. We chose Dublin for our new EMEA Operations Center due to the city’s concentration of world-leading technology and digital media companies, outstanding local talent pool and easy accessibility to Europe’s major markets.”

The company has already begun its recruitment drive to reach 100 members of staff.
