McDonald's promotes classic menu items through 'The One and Only' online campaign

McDonalds has begun an online campaign to promote its core menu items, asking visitors to highlight their favourite classic item.

‘The One and Only’ campaign, developed by Razorfish, will aim to find the favourite classic menus item across Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, Fries, Milkshake or Chicken McNuggets.

On choosing their favourite item by clicking on it, they screen then reveals a word cloud comprised of other words describing their favourite item.

Users are them able to vote from the words as to what it is makes their favourite product and share their vote across social media, while an interactive wallpaper will also be available to download.

The campaign will run until 27 March.
