The Chip Shop Awards launches Crinkly Chips for creative industry legends
The Chip Shop Awards is launching a brand new award this year to celebrate 10 years of the boundary pushing creative competition – the Crinkly Chips.
Brainchild of Chip Shop judge Leo Burnett’s John Jessup, the Crinkly Chips invites industry veterans to submit their Chip Shop ideas in order to win one of these very special prizes.
In order to qualify for the Crinkly Chips you must be either old in years or old in mind and have worked in the creative industry for 25 years or more.
To keep things fair there will be special ‘Crinkly’ categories which will include some of the best classic Chip Shop Awards such as Best Use of Bad Taste and Best Use of Plagiarism, and a special category entitled 'Best Work for a Client You'd Have Loved to Work For, But Never Did'.
Like the Chip Shop Awards the entry deadline for the Crinkly Chips is Friday 8 March with entries to be submitted via the Chip Shop Awards website. If you're a Crinkly and want to take part or know of a Crinkly who should get involved contact katy.thompson@thedrum.com.
Some of our esteemed judging panel have already agreed to take part as well, and we can’t wait to see if there’s life in the old dogs yet.
