Bloom.fm appoints Manifest London, Velocity Communications and Fetch for app launch
Mobile music service Bloom.fm has selected three agencies to launch its app in the UK: Manifest London and Velocity Communications will handle consumer and music industry PR with mobile agency Fetch to manage mobile customer acquisition.
Following a soft launch earlier in the month with a £1 entry-level subscription, the mobile music service combines free streaming radio and music discovery with library-style ‘borrow, enjoy, return’ subscriptions.
The three agencies were appointed following a pitch process, with Bloom.fm marketing director, Jonathan Clark, commenting: “We’re a young company with huge ambitions. We’ve got a great product but there’s a big communications job to do. Fetch, Manifest and Velocity are all energetic and enthusiastic with a track record of helping start-ups like us achieve great things.”
Manifest London director Alex Myers, added: “We can’t wait to get Bloom.fm out there for everyone to fall in love with as much as we do.”
Andy Saunders managing director of Velocity Communications said the agency was also “looking forward to helping the Bloom.fm team launch an amazing new addition to the mobile music landscape”, with group account director of Fetch Guillaume Lelait adding: “We’re all delighted by the early results and are confident we can deliver on Bloom.fm’s ambitious growth objectives.”
