SEO and digital marketing firm Ingenuity Digital Holdings has announced its acquisition of NetConstruct, the web design and development agency, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal sees IDC gain a foothold in online services such as hosting enterprise level websites and e-commerce stores for business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications in areas such as mobile, video, online training and systems integration.

It means the firm now employs over 100 marketing professionals.

Dennis Engel, chief executive of IDH, said: “This is an important strategic acquisition for us following several years of strong organic growth. It broadens our offering and the powerful synergies it brings will benefit both sets of clients.

“With further acquisitions currently being planned, it represents the next step towards IDH becoming one of the largest full service digital agencies in the UK.”
