Richard Bogie becomes group advertising director at Johnston Press

Johnston Press has appointed Richard Bogie as group advertising sales director.

Bogie, formerly advertising sales director of the publisher’s Scottish division, will report to group commercial director Neil Jones, and will oversee sales projects and relationships with the company’s sale house Mediaforce.

The role will include working with the company’s central digital team, and the managing directors and advertising directors of the Johnston Press publishing unit.

Prior to joining Johnston Press, Bogie also held senior sales roles at The Independent, Express Newspapers and IPC Media.
