TV 2 set to unveil new idents with Red Bee Media

TV 2, the biggest commercial broadcaster in Norway, is set to unveil 10 new idents, created by Red Bee Media.

The agency was briefed to create a set of idents which showed of TV 2’s new positioning and felt fresh and modern.

Red Bee Media said: “We knew we needed to consolidate TV 2’s strong relationship with their audience by delivering warm and engaging idents that captured the spirit of Norwegian people.

“We created 10 five second idents that show TV 2 as a source of unforgettable moments. It could be the moment when you rode your bike for the first time as a child, or your first kiss, an amazing summer’s day spent with family, or the rush of adrenalin from doing a base jump.

“Each story is told in a single tracking shot – suggesting a roving eye seeking out unforgettable moments.”

Red Bee Media also designed bespoke graphic animations for the ‘coming up next’ and production end board.

Ole Eliassen, head of branding at TV 2 Norway, said: “Red Bee, with its lovely talented people, have helped us give the TV 2 brand a new look and a colourful emotional touch. We are very happy and really proud of the result and look forward to sharing our "unforgettable moments" with the Norwegian people.”

The new idents will air from today.
