KEO Digital, digital arm of KEO Films, has announced plans to augment its presence in the South West by establishing a new digital innovation centre in Cornwall.

The London based outfit is keen to grow its presence in the region and to that end will create 20 new posts at its Newquay base.

The firm is best known for its delivery of the River Cottage website and its high-profile food campaigns such as Chicken Out, Landshare and Fish Fight.

Amongst a raft of new additions to the team is its communications director, Dawn Bebe, the former managing director of Hatchette Emap Media.

Executive director Rob Love said: "As a company we're highly committed to the West Country, and we want to create a digital production and communications hub in Cornwall where we can attract and grow local talent - and share our cutting edge digital media marketing skills.

"We've recently got more involved in projects in Cornwall and the South West and have found partners like Cornwall Council and Plymouth University share a similar vision and ambition for the region. We're excited about the opportunity to get involved in the community here and make a positive difference."
