Research in Motion could license out software
Research in Motion (RIM) has revealed that a strategic review for the brand could see the licensing of its hardware production, or sale of licenses to its hardware.
According to German newspaper Die Welt, changes could follow the introduction of the Blackberry 10.
CEO Thorsten Heins told the newspaper "The main thing for now is to successfully introduce Blackberry 10. Then we'll see.”
It was also suggested that other options could follow the strategic review.
