Katrina Michel named as Marketing Cheshire CEO

Marketing Cheshire has announced that Katrina Michel will be joining the agency as CEO this month.

Michel brings a strong marketing and business development background to the role, having held marketing positions at Publicis and Ogilvy before taking Cheetham Bell into the WPP group reviving the J Walter Thompson Manchester Office.

Between 2005 and 2007 Michel was chairman of CBJWT and she has also worked in her own consultancy roles, most recently working on projects for American Express and Unilever.

Speaking of her appointment, Michel said: ““I am delighted to be leading such a dynamic organisation, and to be promoting a region that has so many strengths.”

Edward Pysden, chair of Marketing Cheshire, added: “The Board is delighted to appoint Katrina as Marketing Cheshire's CEO.

“Katrina brings strong marketing skills and expertise from a competitive private sector background.”
