MAN Truck & Bus to work with Connect for UK marketing strategy

International supplier of commercial vehicles and transport solutions MAN Truck & Bus UK has appointed Connect Advertising and Marketing as its strategic marketing planner.

The midlands-based agency will now work on driving awareness of the MAN brand in the UK as well as handling long-term marketing strategy going forward. Connect’s initial focus will be on helping to shape MANs ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ message.

Martin Pickering, marketing communications manager at MAN, commented: “Connect’s vast expertise and experience in the commercial vehicle sector and with B2B industrial clients made them the obvious choice. We’re looking forward to forging a long-term strategic partnership to boost the MAN brand in the UK.”

Connect managing director, Antony Green, added: “Despite being ahead of most of the field in product terms and really future-proofing themselves against long term compliance and efficiency issues, MAN has been something of a sleeping giant for too long.

“The brand’s success warrants a much stronger brand presence than it currently enjoys and we’re looking forward to working closely with MAN to build that.”
