Fashion brand Marc Jacobs has never been one to shy away from provocative advertising.

In 2010 the designer himself stripped down and oiled up, covering himself with nothing but a strategically placed bottle of his new men’s fragrance. A year later the designer launched a campaign with an ad featuring young actress Dakota Fanning straddling an ‘Oh Lola’ perfume bottle. It was quickly was banned for being too racy.

Undeterred, Marc Jacobs has launched his latest product offering with another controversial ad showing a man rubbing, well something, in a park. We’re not quite sure what exactly is being ‘polished’ until the final scene when the model smugly puts on his $300 sunglasses.
