In case you missed it, here is our Twitter interview which took place with Kellogg’s cereal star Tony the Tiger, of Frosties fame, who has celebrated his 60th birthday.

Hi Tony, first of all a big happy 60th birthday from all of us here at The Drum. What’s been your favourite moment from the last 60 years, Tony?

Yogi Bear and I featured on pack together in 1958. I was a massive fan and meeting him made me feel like I’d made it!

Do you ever get bored of people telling you that your ‘gr-r-r-eeeat’?

It never gets old. People love saying it and I love hearing it. It's become one of the most iconic catchphrases of all time!

Which advert has been your favourite over the years?

This one is a classic. In fact, I think I look older in this than I do now?

Asked by @taitbw - do you prefer Frosties with skimmed, semi skimmed or full fat milk?

Us cats love cream, but now I’m getting on a bit, I tend to stick with skimmed during the week and go wild at the weekend!

From @Íamkarenw - What do you think of your new makeover? Will we see more of you in digital?

Not every tiger can pull off a pink and red scarf but I look like one cool cat! It’s a one off for my bday so you won’t be seeing it again but you can buy one - it will make a gr-r-reat keepsake.

What did you think about all the mean things said about ‘Frosties Kid’ a few years back? Still speak to him?

Tough question. It was a genuinely catchy advert so I found all the negative comments really hard to take in. I still do.

If you could advertise any other cereal than Frosties/ Frosted Flakes – which one would you choose?

Coco Pops. Me and Coco the monkey have been best friends since the 60s and I just love how they turn the milk chocolatey.

You're an international superstar Tony. Which country feels most like home?

My UK home is Manchester- I love it here. But my wife and kids live in America. Wherever they are, is where home is.

From @weemunchkin - which one do you prefer Snap, Crackle or Pop and why?

They’re all top blokes. Pop + I have similar tastes in music as we both love Jungle + go to lots of concerts together.

Last question -do you think you'll ever retire? The bus pass isn't too far away! What would you do if you did?

I have no plans to retire. I’m still a young cub at heart and there’s plenty of life in this old tiger yet!

Thanks for taking the Q&A Tony - hope you enjoy the rest of your celebrations-you can hand back the @KelloggsUK reins.
