Outspoken Republican Donald Trump has issued a clarion call to ‘revolution’ on Twitter after becoming incensed at the re-election of Barack Obama as President for another four year term.

A fierce critic of the Democrat, Trump has previously questioned his nationality in a long running debate over his Obama’s birth certificate but has now upped the ante still further by railing against the ‘disgusting injustice, sham and travesty’ of the election.

In one of his more provocative tweets Trump wrote; “He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!”

Trump later deleted the post but his timeline remains full of critical tweets surrounding the future of the US, the electoral system, Democrats and Obama.

One read: “We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!”
