Harry Hussain is to head up Weber Shandwick's Edinburgh office after being promoted from associate director to director within the PR agency's Scottish business.

In his new role Hussain will also take charge of the firm's public sector team in Scotland, focusing on strategy and planning for behaviour change and public information campaigns.

Moray Macdonald, managing director of Weber Shandwick Scotland, said: “Harry’s promotion is an important milestone for Weber Shandwick.

"He rightly commands enormous respect across the industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts that will prove a significant asset to our clients and our business.”

Hussain, who has worked in the PR industry for 11 years, joined Weber Shandwick in 2010 from the group communications team at Lloyds Banking Group.
