The Wall Street Journal is to open a pop-up cafe in London's Tech City next month playing host to panel discussions and interviews with the likes of Facebook, Google and Telefónica.

The three-day Wall Street Journal Tech Cafe will start on Wednesday 12 September at The Book Club in Shoreditch.

It will feature a series of events hosted by Ben Rooney, the Journal's European technology editor, and Alan Murray, executive editor of The Wall Street Journal Online.

"Our Tech Europe blog has been helping tell Europe's tech story for almost two years now, and our first ever Tech Cafe will allow us to bring all this coverage to a wider audience," said Rooney.

"I hope we'll have some thought-provoking, engaging and even controversial discussion on some of the big topics in tech."

You can find out more about the Tech Cafe and pre-register for sessions on its Eventbrite page.
