ScotRail set to introduce first TV ad for Club 55 tickets

Scotrail is set to roll out its first TV ad, created by The Leith Agency, for Club 55 tickets at the start of September.

The TV campaign for the tickets, which allow those over 55 to travel anywhere in Scotland for £19 return from 3 September to 30 November, will run from 1 to 9 September on STV.

The campaign will also be supported by national newspapers, posters, leaflets and social media; with media buying handled by MEC.

Sean Duffy, ScotRail’s commercial director, said: “Club 55 continues to be our most popular offer, and we think now is the right time to increase our promotional spending.

“We’ve also expanded Club 55 this autumn to allow even more time for customers to make the most of the offer.

“It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy an autumn break before winter sets in.”
